Dave and Julie recently purchased a home in Rochester, New York. One evening while they were away, a thief broke into their house and stole cash, jewelry and some electronics. While ransacking the house, the thief caused significant damage to Dave and Julie’s TV and stereo system. They had paid for warranties on them, so they were angry when they realized they had lost the receipts and could not get their money back or have their electronics replaced.
