Collect Documents

Before embarking on international travel, you should prepare all the documents you might need. Check out How to Organize Your Travel Documents for help with this. Gather all items that could be useful in a foreign country. Of course you will carry the physical copies of many of these items with you, such as your passport and credit cards. However, due to threats like theft and natural disaster, you should also have an emergency action plan.
