In Case of Emergency (I.C.E.)

Do I automatically get the I.C.E. service when I sign up?
Yes, every Orggit user is assigned a unique ID number and given an In Case of Emergency (I.C.E.) card to carry in their purse or wallet. New users will receive their I.C.E. card only after they have completed the registration process.

How do you verify the person who calls to get my information in an emergency?
In the event that someone calls to request your medical information, we first verify the name and ID number found on your I.C.E. card.

What will show up in my medical report?
Your medical report consists of all information that you have entered into the medical section of your Orggit account, including the documents that you have tagged for emergency use.

If I lose my I.C.E. card, can someone get into my account?
No, the I.C.E. card is not associated with any account login information. If you lose your card please contact Orggit Customer Support and we will issue you another with a new client ID number. Your data will remain safe.

If I add someone to my vault, do they get the I.C.E. service as well?
Yes. Every Orggit user has the option of using the I.C.E service.

What if I do not want the I.C.E. service?
If you do not wish to use the Orggit I.C.E. service, simply remove the I.C.E. card from your purse or wallet.

User Management

How does user access work?
Users will always have access to their own profile. The account owner decides whether the user will also be able to view all other user profiles, and the filing cabinet. User access can be managed under 'My Account', on the family members tab.

Do I have to enter an email address to add a new user?
No, Orggit allows for users to have a username and not an email address. Some Orggit customers may have children or other family members without email addresses; Orggit makes it simple for these users to gain the benefits of Orggit.

Can Orggit Customer Support access my information?

Is my information being backed up?
Orggit does a backup of all changes made within our system every two hours. We have multiple geographically distinct data center locations to protect your information in case of a natural disaster. This provides us with the ability to protect our client's data in the case of an emergency situation.

If I lose my iPhone, can someone get into my account?
